Chaos

2023, 4 × 3 × 2.5 m, video installation with granite, marble, sand, and projector

Chaos brings together stone and projected light to construct an unstable image of home. Built from seven layers of rock, each loosely tied to one of the homes I once lived in, the work draws from the disorientation of frequent relocation and the feeling that home never stayed fixed for long. The work holds weight, gaps, and imbalance in tension, while projected video of waves, windows, buildings, and lighthouses drift across the surface like broken memory.
